Terms of Service

These Terms of Service consist of two parts. Part A — Platform Terms applies to every visitor and Venue, regardless of country. Part B — India Supplement contains additional rules that apply if you are accessing RexQR from India or operating a Venue in India. If you are in India, both parts apply to you. If there is a conflict, Part B prevails for Indian users and venues.

Part A

Platform Terms of Service

A1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RexQR platform, including our websites, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.

RexQR is operated by Yexaa Technologies("RexQR," "we," "us," "our") — Yexaa Technologies Pvt Ltd in India and Yexaa Technologies FZCO in the United Arab Emirates. These Terms create a binding legal agreement between you and the relevant Yexaa entity.

A2. Who Can Use RexQR

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create an account. You represent that all information you provide is accurate and current. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Account Security: You're responsible for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at support@rexqr.com.

A3. Platform Overview

A3.1 For Guests

RexQR enables you to:

  • Make table reservations at participating restaurants and venues ("Venues")
  • Join waitlists
  • View menus and order food
  • Make payments to Venues
  • Leave reviews and ratings
  • Browse and discover Venues

A3.2 For Venues (Business Users)

RexQR provides operational tools including:

  • Reservation management
  • Menu creation and management
  • Payment processing
  • Marketing automation
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Customer relationship management

Venue access is governed by separate commercial agreements.

A4. Reservation Services

A4.1 Making Reservations

When you request a reservation through the Platform:

  • We connect your request to the Venue's system
  • Availability is determined in real-time
  • Confirmation is sent via email/SMS when accepted
  • The reservation is binding between you and the Venue

A4.2 Reservation Requirements

To complete a reservation, you must provide: name and contact information, party size and preferred time, special requests or dietary requirements (optional), and credit card information (for certain Venues).

A4.3 Credit Card Authorization

Some Venues require credit card information to secure reservations. By providing your card, you authorize temporary authorization to verify validity, charges for no-shows or late cancellations per Venue policy, and pre-payments when required by the Venue.

A4.4 Venue Responsibility

Important: Reservations are made directly with Venues. RexQR facilitates the connection but the Venue controls availability, pricing, and policies; the Venue is responsible for service quality and food safety; disputes must be resolved with the Venue directly; and RexQR is not liable for Venue performance or policies.

A5. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

A5.1 Standard Cancellation

Unless otherwise stated by the Venue:

  • Cancel at least 2 hours before your reservation: No penalty
  • Cancel less than 2 hours before: Venue may charge cancellation fee
  • No-show: Full cancellation fee charged

A6. Payment Services

A6.1 Payment Processing

RexQR facilitates payments between you and Venues. When you make a payment, your payment information is processed securely, we share necessary information with payment processors (Stripe, Cashfree), we do not store your full credit card number, and charges appear on your statement as "REXQR" or the Venue name.

A7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy matters. Our Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference) explains how we handle your data.

A8. Intellectual Property

All Platform content and technology is owned by RexQR or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal purposes only.

A9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, we are not liable for Venue actions or services, food quality or safety, personal injury at Venues, lost profits, or indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the greater of US $500 (or local equivalent) or amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Part B

India-Specific Supplement

The clauses in this Part apply in addition to Part A for users accessing RexQR from India and for Venues operating in India.

B1. Applicability

This Part B supplements Part A and applies to all users accessing RexQR from India and to all Venues operating within India. Where Part A and Part B conflict for an Indian user or Indian Venue, Part B controls.

B2. Governing Law

For Indian users and Venues, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.

B3. Consumer Protection

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019:

  • All prices displayed include applicable GST
  • Guests have the right to accurate information about Venue services
  • Misleading advertising or false claims are prohibited
  • Consumers may file complaints with the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission

B4. Data Protection (DPDP Act)

We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act):

  • Personal data is processed lawfully and transparently
  • Data is collected for specified, legitimate purposes only
  • Cross-border data transfers follow applicable data localisation requirements
  • Users have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal data

B5. Electronic Transactions

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, electronic signatures and records created through the Platform are legally valid and enforceable.

B6. Venue Compliance

Indian Venues using RexQR must:

  • Hold a valid FSSAI licence for food service
  • Comply with food safety regulations (FSSAI standards)
  • Display accurate pricing including GST
  • Adhere to local labour laws for staff management features

B7. Payment Terms (India)

All payments processed through the Platform in India are in INR (Indian Rupee) unless otherwise specified. Payment processing complies with RBI (Reserve Bank of India) regulations and is performed via licensed Indian payment gateways (Cashfree).
